Trea B. Tuck

Trea is a Partner of Henderson Tuck.  She practices in the area of Corporate/Commercial Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estates.

Before becoming a lawyer, Trea was a registered nurse practicing in the areas of critical and intensive care.  The economic realities of the early 1990s in Ontario prompted her to move to the United States.  Looking for a new challenge after 15 years of nursing, she attended law school and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2005. She moved to Tokyo, Japan, that same year where she worked as an Associate for a Japanese law firm practicing international corporate law. She made Brockville her home in 2011 and joined the law firm of Henderson Johnston Fournier.

Trea has a compassionate approach to assisting clients with their legal issues.  Her experience includes a wide range of corporate matters, from start-ups to mature businesses, tax reorganizations, succession planning and estate freezes, asset and share purchases and sales, not-for-profits organizations, incorporations and dissolution at both the provincial and federal level.  She brings the same degree of compassion and skill to her real estate, wills and estates practice.

Active in the community, Trea currently serves as a member of the Board of Governors for St. Lawrence College and Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville.  She was previously a member of the Board of Governors of the Brockville General Hospital and the St. Lawrence River Institute.  She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, State Bar of Texas, Leeds and Grenville Law Association and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honour Society.

When she is not practising law or volunteering her time, Trea can be found at the gym, riding her horse, doing yoga, enjoying time with friends and travelling.
